At the IAEG Asian Regional Conference (Nov 27-29, 2025, Kathmandu, Nepal), Ms. Anjila Babu Malla, a doctoral student in the Science of Natural Environment Systems Course, co-represented the Women Engineering Geologists Committee and convened the session “The Role of Women in the Development of Engineering Geology.” She played a key role in organizing events for women geologists and received appreciation from IAEG President Prof. Vassilis Marinos. Currently, she serves as Chair of the Nepal Women Engineering Geologists Committee.
