On Dec 11, 2025, at the Kansai Branch Conference of the Japanese Society of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, Chisato Tsuda, a first-year master’s student in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences, received the Outstanding Presentation Award for her research on water purification using artificial soil aggregates inspired by earthworms.
